widnes halfpennys

my greatgrandfather was Thomas wright Halfpenny who lived in Widnes (near liverpool) his children included Les who married Theresa his son Benjamin Phillip is my father, (daughter Betty marries gordon lockett.) My father married leonora hanlon and with their 4 children Phillip, Elaine, Andrea and Belinda emigrated to Adelaide South Australia in 1965. I would like to know where Tom came from and more about his family. Family storey is he was from Shropshire.
