Lawrence Halfpenny/Halpin - Couty Louth

My gg grandfather Lawrence Halfpenny/Halpin, born about 1811 in County Louth, Ireland, immigrated to the United States between 1841 and 1843.With him was his wife Bridget ? and son, Patrick (born 1841).This is all of the information I have on him before he came to the states.Can anyone help me trace the family in Ireland?
