No connection that I know of (re the Davis / Halfpenny marriage).

Elizabeth Halfpenny(Born about 1776) was born in Staffordshire by the way. There is a Stableford in both Shropshire and Staffordshire. Elizabeth was born at the Staffordshire one. I did not realise this when I posted my original 1999 message.
