Hi Kirsty, I am trying to trace my family.I know I had an uncle James Halfpenny who was married with about five or six children and seperated from his wife.I believe they lived in Clydebank.If it is the same James he had 3 brothers and five sisters that I know of.Their names were Mary, Patrick, Edward, Margaret, Catherine, Hugh, Elizabeth and Agnes.I think Agnes died very young.I hope this is of some help. The rest of the family came from Possilpark and either settled there or moved to Milton, Glasgow.
