Sry took me a while..I don't check this site all the time... my maiden name is Halfpenny... I can go back 7 generations in my tree..mostly due to my father doing the research.Not sure if we have a connection tho... My Father is James Brian Halfpenny b.1927 his father was also a James b.1901, married May Kelsall, lived in Stoke, staffs, he was a coal miner but then became a police officer and moved to Manchester where my father (their only child) was born.His father was also a James b.1873 who married Elizabeth (lizzy) Clarke they lived in staffs too, and had 9 children.(I have the names if you like) I can go back 3 more generations to late 1700's but not sure if this helps you..so let me know.Meanwhile if you have any mor info for me I would appreciate it.
