Charles K. Halk(m.) Elizabeth Jane Crosby, 12 Nov. 1884, Oakland Co., MI.She was(b.) 29 Jul. 1858, Ontario, CAN the daughter of Enoch Crosby and Eliza McDormand who were from Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, CAN, then Ontario, CAN, finally settling in Clarkston, Oakland Co., MI.Charles and Elizabeth had 4 children that I know of:

1. Elizabeth Halk,(b.) Mar. 31, 1886, Oakland Co., MI
2. Joseph Enoch Halk,(b.) Sep. 27, 1887, Oakland Co., MI
3. Mabel Halk,(b.) Feb. 11, 1889, Oakland Co., MI(d.) Sep. 15, 1891, Oakland Co., MI
4. Charles Halk,(b.) Sep. 23, 1890, Oakland Co., MI

Charles had a son, George Halk who was a baptist minister and married my grandparents.
