Tumut Hallinans N.S.W

My Uncle Jack from near Albury in Australia, was recently in Ireland and said that there are multiple Hallinans in Ennis where our lot came from. He was flying Air Lingus and the pilot on his plane was even a Hallinan, with a daughter who also flew with the same company.
He's wondering if anyone knows anything about the Hallinans from Tumut, N.S.W. who recently featured in the T.V. program, "Australian Story." There'seems to be some facial resemblance. Apparently the family has been there a very long time, but he was wondering if any other Hallinan family has links with them?
