Ancestors of Clement Hancock born circa 1750

Clement is my four great grandfather, and I have the line from him to my maternal grandmother.It is his ancestorsthat I've been unable to track.I've seen several family trees and other information on him, but most disagree as to his father and on back.His father has been listed as Clement Sr. married to Anthany Unknown or Anthany Pennington, son of either Samuel or William, depending on which researcher you read.His father was also listed in one place as Clement Jr. born 1736 (dates are kind of off on that one).Does anyone know who his father and grandfather are?If you have this information, I would like very much to hear from you.
