Lost - Henry J Handley & large family

Kemper Co 1837 census lists James Hanley/Handley who also appears in the 1840 p.8 U S Kemper co. census.
In 1837 Henry J Hindly/Handley is listed with 10 children, five boys and 5 girls. What happened to this family? Is this the same Henry Handley who married Elizabeth Mathews in Warren Co. Ga on 19 June 1801?
