Re: David Handley of Warren County, Kentucky b. 1785

Lindsey,It's been a while since your post.I am searching for information on a Jesse Handley born 1809 believed to have been born in GA, "rescued" by an uncle for an unknown reason andtaken to OH.We can track him from OH to IL but that's about all.I'm intrigued by your Jesse who has the same birth year because not only do I show that David L. lists Jesse in a census but so too does his brother Jesse. (I tied both Jessie and David to John and Sarah Campbell as their parents, and John and Grizel as ggg. Any idea why both list Jesse?

Not sure about it but also saw an entry that David was also married to a Rachel with whom there was a son, Solomon, 1777-1852. I have pages and pages of notes on this Jesse mystery but if that seems feasible and let me know and I'll try to track back to where I found it.I usually post to my tree but I have not connected these people so I only have handwritten info

I'm not much help but if there is anything you know of that could tie Jesse to Georgia or Ohio I would appreciate knowing - its a long shot!
