John J. Hanley born county Armagh, Ireland c. 1860-1870.Immigrated to Brooklyn late 1800's.Lived on Carroll St., Bklyn. Might have worked for the electric company.Married Rose McGuinness.Oldest child Mary (Mae)b. 1894 in Bklyn. Mae married Edward/Edwin Murray c.1918.They had 3 sons Ted b. 1920, Robert b. 1922, Kenneth b. 1927. I heard Ted married sometime around WWII,served in the Marines and had 5 children including one set of twins.They lived on Long Island.They would be first cousins to me.Robert(my father) married Dorothy Westmiller in 1949 and had 3 children.Ken never married. I heard John and Rose had eight children.Besides Mae there was James, John, Edward, Dolly.
