Re: Patrick Hanlin/Hanlon Revolutionary War Pension

I'm also researching this ancestor, I have some info from DAR on him;

He was a Private in the Third Pennsylvania Regiment of the Continental Line.This is from the PA Archives, Series 5 vol II, p 998.

I also found a copy the pension request on Ancestry, I downloaded it and would be happy to share if this helps you out.When I was looking on Ancestry.com, someone had made a notation that Margarete's pension request was denied because she and Patrick had been married after his service in the war, rather than before.I have no idea how accurate that info is, or what the source was.

If anyone has any information on where in Ireland Patrick was from, or his parents, I would be very glad to have it.
