Still think his father had to be Richard.They are probably on the ship's list as O'Hanlon or O'Anluain landing in Philadelphia in 1770 or earlier.I believe I found them in Franklin County, PA around 1770.

I did have several variations on his wife, Margaret's last name.I have Brannun, Brunnun and Bannon, so it's probably been Americanized also. Since family legend says she was the widow of another Rev. War soldier, I don't know if Bannon was her maiden name or her first husband's name.More to ponder.....
