2nd Lt Francis P. Hanlon -- fighter pilot

By Nandor Mohos June 08, 2004 at 03:20:59

2nd Lieutenant Francis Patrick Hanlon was a P-38 pilot. He was flying with the 82nd Fighter Group assigned to the 15th Army Air Force during the Second World War. Their base was in Southern Italy. 2nd Lt Hanlon's aircraft was shot down above Hungary on June 16th, 1944 and he was killed. His body was buried in village of Erteny, Hungary. I am looking for his relatives. I know only his Father's address in 1944: 34 Pleasant St., Nantucket, Massachusetts. There are some additional info at:http://www.terrasoft.hu/~repulos/repulos1/frame.htmhttp://www.terrasoft.hu/~repulos/repulos1/frame.htm

If you have any information on the family, Please let me know!
Thank you in advance!
