The Nicholas Hardeman to whom you refer (1772-1818) is Nicholas Perkins Hardeman and was one of the brothers of John Hardeman (1776-1829) whose second wife was Nancy Knox.Their son, Glen O. Hardeman (1825-1905), married Permilia Townsend and had four sons, including Glen H. Hardeman (1868-1948).Glen married Marion Evans and had Walker, Owen, Howard, Townsend, and Nicholas Perkins Hardeman II (1923-1992).Nicholas Perkins Hardeman II was my father.
