Hardeman - Everett Connection (1780's)

John Everett, Sn married Esther Hardeman.They both traveled with Thomas Hardeman via flatboat to Nashville, TN (1785/86).I am trying to find where John Everett was originally from and who his father was.I would greatly appreciate any help.
