Yes, Dr. Glen Hardeman was my grandfather and
he did go to California during the Gold Rush
and did farm with your ancestor Burnet for
several years before coming back to Missouri.
It was my younger brother who wrote the
book Wilderness Calling. He got much of his
information from the attic trunk. I live in
Patton,Missouri. My sister Townsend Hardeman
Fenn and I are the only two remaining members
of our family.Am interested in corresponding
