I have scans of some of the Burnett family photos and will email them to you. There are others that I haven't scanned yet, including the ones which are unidentified but which were in the old trunk left to us by my granduncle Frank Burnett (a nephew of Gov Peter H. Burnett).

I did some research and figured out the Hardeman relationship to President Polk, and I'll send that also. It's lost in my email somewhere. As I recall, one of the Hardeman sisters (a daughter of Thomas Hardeman)married a Polk who was brother to President Polk's father. I will send you the names and dates that I found.
