It's been some time since I checked this Web site.I was delighted to see your response.I couldn't be more proud of my father's accomplishments as an author (and as a father!), especially with "Wilderness Calling."As you undoubtedly know, he passed away from cancer in January 1992.I am sort of following in his footsteps.Like him, I am a college professor, but not in history.

How interesting that you are a descendant of Peter Burnett.Though I live in Missouri, I am a native Californian, and I still have family in Southern Cal (Orange County).
