Atlanta GA Hardemans

I just wanted to share a little info... I am a Hardeman and live here in Atlanta, Georgia. My cousin has been doing our family tree for a very long time. My great grandfather was a plantation owner from South Carolina, she has a copy of his slave records - I believe. He moved to Atlanta and died. He is buried under a tree out at Emory University.

Apparently there were some Hardeman's that lived in Covington GA back in the early 1900s also. If you google "Vanishing Georgia", type in Hardeman and you will find pictures.
