Re: Nicholas Hardeman

I am a descendant of Roger Topp an early settler of Davidson Co., Tenn. His daughter (some say granddaughter) was Susannah married Stewart Fambrough in Davidson Co. on May 24, 1798. There are references to Topp as being in the Nashville area as early as the early 1780's. I have seen the refernence to his having married a Nannie Hardeman on one other occasion, but no documentation, nor any info on the parents of Nannie. I found a Nancy Hardeman who married another man in early Davidson history. I'm confused.
Can anyone enlighten me?
