Valentine Hardin married Margaret Castleberry about 1790. They lived in Washington Co, Ga. Valentine Hardin died in 1800 in Washington Co. After his death his widow married William Warren. She died near Carrollton, Carroll, Co., Ga in 1850.Valentine and Margaret had children:
Rhoda, b. 3/12/1796, d. 1868, m. Carter Crew, lived near Dallas, Ga.;
Sallie, m. James Dowdy;
Polly, m. John Barton in Jackson Co., Ga. 1/14/1808;
William Henry Hardin, b. 1/29/1798 in Washington Co., Ga., 9 miles from Sandersville, Ga., m. Nancy Cloud 9/21/1820 in Putnam Co., Ga. who was b. in 1800, d. 1864, buried in Clay Co., William H. Hardin died in 1854 in Bartow Co., Ga., buried in the Spullock Cemetery in Rome , Ga.. William Hardin was in the War of 1812.
