Hello Dan. I too descend from Edwin Hardin..through Naphania's line.I have just verifed, through means of the 1900 census and Abraham H. Hardin's (Naphania's brother) confederate pension application that Edwin was indeed born in KY.Another family researcher and I are speculating that if naming patterns held true, Edwin's father's name could be Abraham. The Hardin lines are confusing, so at least we know this particular line went through KY.
