I am not following your question well, but some ancestry.com trees show that a Thomas W. Hardin and his wife, Gracey Reid Hardin of Columbia Co., Georgia had a son named Thomas W. Hardin whose birth and death date closely resemble the one noted above, with burial in Spottsylvania Co., Va. and again another burial record for another Thomas J. Hardin with burial/tombstone application for a site in Holly Springs, Ms.
and the birth/death dates are identical. Both pop up with findagrave memorials.I do know that in Malone and Allied Families, Revised and Second Edition by Randolph A. Malone, shows this man as being born 1821 as Thomas W. Hardin Sr. but the actual will of his father shows son Thomas J. Hardin. Thomas' second wife, Catherine Hall Hardin moved to Clark Co., Arkansas I believe to live with relatives, apparently the first wife having died.I really think we have crossed families yhere. Thomas W. Hardin, father of this Thomas J. Hardin was a s/o Martha Malone who married about 1778 in Virginia to William Hardin(g) who died in 1805 in Columbia Co., Georgia. He was a s/o Thomas Harding and his wife, Phoebe Beasley Hardin(g) of Lunenburg Co., Va.
William Harding (d. 1805) had a sister, Ann who married the brother of Martha Malone, named Peter Malone.
