I am the granddaughter of Samuel D. Hardin of Pontotoc MS.He had two sons.Frank Hardin and Fred Hardin and one daughter Jessie Hardin (died at age 16).I'm not sure if there is any connection with your family but the likely hood is there.Samuel Hardin was born around 1888.
