Charlotte Hardway Watson Ames

My great great grandmother, Charlotee Hardway Watson Ames, must have gotten her middle name from someone that her parents knew.

They were all from South Carolina and Mississippi.

All the postings on this message board seem to show that Hardways lived in West Virginia.

Does anyone know of a Hardway family that lived in South Carolina?
