Re: William Richard Hardy & Mary Elizabeth Winn
Greetings. William Richard Hardy & Mary Elizabeth Wynne are 6th Great Grandparents of mine. I have proved his Rev. War service for a Sons of the American Revolution supplemental application. He not only served and was at Valley Forge, but he swore an Oath of Allegiance and had Patriotic Service by giving supplies to the cause. I am currently trying to prove her parents. I believe she is, but have not proved, that she is a Grand Daughter to Capt. Thomas Wynne(Sr.) and Agnes Stith. Her year of birth fits in with being a grand child of theirs. Thomas Wynne (Jr.)sons Daniel & Joseph that owned land that adjoined William Richard Hardy. They litigated, bought and sold land to each other. Their DOBs fit right in with Mary Elizabeth Wynne's DOB. The were contemporaries. I believe that she is a sister or at the very least a cousin of theirs and am working on that & her parents. William Richard Hardy & Mary Elizabeth Winn named a son Stith, name sake of Agnes Stith??, and is proved in William Richard Hardy's 1790 Will. If I can help email me. Thanks, Mike Mankin [email protected]
I POSTED 2X, ONCE FOR ANNETTE & ONCE FOR RICHARD! HOPE YOU BOTH GET TO SEE IT.
