Re: HARIG , Adams Co., IL

I found a tie to my side.
John Bernard Harig was born 1787 in Quakenbruck, Germany. Came to Baltimore
in 1833 as a locksmith. He ran a hardware store until his death around 1870
in Baltimore. He had 3 sons, John, Joseph, and Bernard.
John Frederick Harig was born 1817 in Hanover, Germany and died about 1880
in Baltimore.I m also looking for information from up-stream sources.I found a post in here for a Herman Henry Harig who imigrated from Hanover in 1865.Must be a tie to John Frederick of Hanover.I looked to see how big Hanover was in 1850 and I could not support 2 seperate tributaires of Harig's.If anyone come across any info from John Bernard Harig in Quakenbruck let me know.
