Harig-Weinedel connection??

I am Roy Harig Weinedel III... descended from Carl Weinedel, the portrait artist Born near Bresden Germany around 1795.He died in New York, New York May 11, 1845.His wife was Amelia Wortig.I am trying to find out the connection which gave the middle name Harig to myself, my father, and Grandfather.My Grandfather was born in 1893 and married Alice Utterback.They lived in the Louisville, KY area.Thanks for any help.Roy Weinedel, Mississippi
