The Harkness family resided in this area: My mother was Wilhelmina Thomson Harkness born Airdrie, Scotland, b 1910 d 1983 Toronto ON. Her other siblings were born Rutherglen, Paisley Cty. Renfrew, Glasgow however her father was born West Lothian Uphall b. 1867 d. 1920 Glasgow. His father John Harkness b. abt. 1840 - his first child John was born 1861 in Renfew Cty., Greenock Middle-East-West Parishes, other births of children were Lanark Cty. Anderston, Lanark Cty. Whitburn and then West Lothian Bathgate. Still trying to gather "Harkness" information.My family is very interested in their "Scottish" Heritage. Any additional information to [email protected]
