You have intrigued me... so I am pulling out my Harlan genealogy book.

There are 7 Ezekial Harlan's.Let me look up who there wives were.Well first, I should see if there is an Elizabeth Patterson.Hmmm, I found a James Harlan m. an Elizabeth Patterson, but they lived in Philadelphia.Okay, back to the Ezekiels.

Well this looks close.
Ezekial Harlan (b1679) came to America when he was 8.In 1700 married in Friends ceremony to Mary Bezer who died in childbiirth.In 1705/6 Eziekiel married Ruth Buffington. They had a son Ezekiel b 1707 and he married Hannah Oborn.Hannah had a son Ezekiel b betw 1730 - 1734 (prob 1732) who lived in PA until he was an adult "after which it is supposed that he too went South, as his brothers Jonathan and Ellis had done."Ellis is listed as having moved to North Carolina, Tennessee and Georgia, and he married a cherokee woman (and was disowned by the meeting).Jonathan is listed as going to North Carolina around 1764, then eventually to Tennessee and Georgia.Ezekiel is said to have followed his brothers into the Cherokee Nation.Ezekiel is listed as having 2 daughters, and a son Ezekiel.That Ezekiel is listed as marrying Elizaberth Buckhart.Their child was George.
WEll, that was sounding promising, but no Michael listed, and no Elizabeth Patterson.

Okay, we have brothers Ezekiel, Joseph, John, Lewis, William and Joel in this family.This Ezekiel was born 1775, married Hannah Heston, and stayed in PA all his life.His sons were David, John & Joseph.
Looking at the other Ezekiels is not turning up anything promising and we are getting into the 1800s.

Well, all I can say is that it looks like you saved yourself some money, as it doesn't appear to have what you need.
If you remember the other Harlan's name, I'd be glad to try looking it up for you.
