Re: Thomas Jefferson Harlin/Harlan Born TN Civil War Vet?

Thomas Jefferson Harlan was my son-in-law, Ken Stoltzner's great grandfather on his mother's side. I have some in formation on him, however I have no information that he ever served in the military. From his age at the time of the outbreak of the war, I would imagine that he could have served and probably did. He lived in Tennesee at the time, as did his family along with his brother LaFayette Harlan. Thomas and his family came to Santa Ana, California in the early 1870's after coming to California and residing in Sacramento, and Woodland California for a time.
