My husband is actually related to the Little Family of MD/PA/NJ. I am hoping that this Susan (Little) Harlan is the sister of my husband's 3rd. Great Grandfather, John C. Little and the daughter of his 4th Great Grandfather, James Little. I have been looking for her since the mid-1970s.
From the information you gave me, it seems that Susan Little was the 2nd wife of George Harlan.I am wondering if Sarah Little, his 1st wife, was Susan's sister or a cousin.
Could you tell me what source you found this information in? Was it from the book you mentioned earlier - Genealogy of the Harlan Family 1687-1912?Where can I find this book?
The Little family has been a brick wall for me for many years, but this may be a break-through for me, and with your help. Thank you again for your response and the info. you supplied me with.
