I have some info on this family.I do not connect to the family but I am researching the family farm that my parents own and think that it could be Walter Harley's place.I know the Jeffcoats lived next to the farm.Tom Harley was living in Pensacola, FL in 1970 as per his sister's Mary E., obit.Mary E married Charles Marion Darby. The Darby and Harly families are buried in Able Cemetery in Gantt, Covington Co, Alabama.I found Walter Harley in both the 1910 and 1920 census. On the road between Andalusia and Leon as stated in census.Pretty sure this is county road 37 (Boston Road). We were told that the farm was the Darby farm but I haven't been able to find him living on the farm. He lived on River Falls Road.Did he acquire it from his wife? I know that the house left on the farm was lived in by an African American family from the Early 1920s.The lived there for a very long time but may not have owned the land. This is not the main house. It has been torn down. Any info could help.Thank you,
