Thank you for posting the information on the Harmony family. I am descended from John Harmony, brother of Adam Harmony and son of John Harmon(y) that died in 1801 in Franklin Co., PA. I think that this Adam Harmony and the one you discuss are the same person, but there are a couple of problems that a was hoping you could help me solve.
The will of John Harmon who died in 1801 lists three sons: Adam, Peter and John. You state that John had 5 sons, 4 with names Adam, John, William, and Daniel.
Franklin Co., PA estate records exists for an Adam Harmony in 1825. I had been assuming that this Adam Harmony was the son of John who died in 1801. But your Adam is alive and well after that and living in Wisconsin. How to distinguish which was really the son of John?
Any help appreciated. I would be happy to share information.
