The remains of the late Miss Bernice Harney, of Bloominton, arrived in Chatsworth on the morning train today and funeral services were held at SS. Peter and Paul's church at nine o'clock, interment taking place at St. Patrick's cemetery.
Bernice Harney was born at Chatsworth, June 14, 1893, and was the daughter of William and Elizabeth (Lawless) Harney. The family left her when she was a small girl.
The Bloomington Pantagraph of Thursday says: "At an early age she removed with the family to Pontiac, where they resided for a period of ten years. Last September they moved to Bloomington and Miss Harney took up work in the Brown's Business College. Her work proved heavier than expected and when complications set in she was not strong enough to withstand the attack. Deceased is survived by her mother and one sister, Miss Katherine Harney." Her father also survives, residing in Pontiac.
