Yes, Thomas Washington Harney's (1802-1894) father was George Washington Harney.
George W. was born c.1769, Delaware, d. c.1805 TN.He married Janey McSpaddin on 3 June 1800, in TN.After George W's death, Janey married Hugh Tilford, on 5 June 1808.

George W. Harney was the son of Jenethan Harney, who served in the Revolutionary War.
Jenethan is the son of Thomas Harney II & Hannah Mills.Thomas II is the son of ThomasHarney and Miss Selby; and he in turn is the son of Timothy Harney, b.1655, Somerset co., MD and Elizabeth Green.
