Re: Harney family - Harnett spelling

I have seen Harney spelled Harnet (with one 't') in both the Quebec and Irish records, and pronounced the same as the 'ey' ending.I have not traced any Harnett's (with two 'tt'), however.Sorry I can't be of further help.
