James W. Harrell and his wife Mary Ann Mixon are buried in Oak Grove Cemetery near Sparta. They a daughter Sarah Jane Harrell that married James Madison Spruill, and Eunice Harrell who married Elijah Morgan Yeates. I was unaware that they had a son. James Wilson Harrell was born in South Carolina on July 22, 1805.
I have not been able to find his parents. There was a George Harrell that lived close to Samuel Mixon in the 1790 Cheraw Dist. SC, Census. on pg 47.

Samuel Mixon was the grandfather of Mary Ann Mixon. The Mixons were from Darlington District, South Carolina. Mary Ann Mixon's mother, Gatsy Belk was from Kershaw Dist., So. Carolina.
Do you know if James Wilson and Mary Ann had anymore children?
