Death of W. H. Harrington
Funeral Services of Well-Known Georgian Were Conducted Thursday in West Point.
The funeral services of W. H. Harrington, the former well-known Georgian, who died last Monday night in Helena, Ark. (Phillips Co.), were conducted in West Point, Ga., Thursday.
Mr. Harrington has lived in West Point nearly all his life, being engaged in the cotton business, but some time ago he left his Georgia home and for business reasons located in Helena, Ark.He was taken sick on Sunday with an attack of acute indigestion, his death occurring the following day.
He was married twice, the first time to Miss Anne Zachry, by whom he had four children, who survive him, Dr. Alfred Harrington, of West Point, Ga.; John M., Frank and W. H., Jr., all of New York.Mr. Harrington's second marriage was to Miss Janie Orme, a sister of Joseph Orme, of Atlanta.Her son, Archibald, survive him.
All of his children were present at the funeral services with the exception of W. H. Harrington, Jr., who could not be reached, being in California at the time of death of his father.
