I don't know anything about the postoffice but I was trying to say: yes, I think that the William in Barren Co., KY in 1810 is our William. He had a son, Benjamin who was born in Barren Co. in 1806.This Benjamin married Mary (possibly Lunsford) from TN c. 1824.
For this reason, I'm interested in Zachariah in TN.
This is what I have on this line:
Descendants of William Hardwick

................ +Mary (Lunsford?) b: 9 June 1809 in TN d: Bef. 1863 in MO m: Abt. 1824
