My wife's Grandfather was William Loranzo Hasley.She is the daughter of Callie Clementine (Hasley) (Pennington) Britton.The 1900 Fed. Census shows William Loranzo Hasley residing in Comanche County, Texas; and that he was born in Tenn. in Sept. of 1857. The household consisted of himself, his wife and 6 children.The second child is listed as Lewis Roger Hasley who was born Jan. 1884. His fifth child was Callie Clementine Hasley who was born April, 1894. The 1920 Fed census shows William L. Hasley, at the age of 62, living in Comanche County, Texas, with his wife, Sarah C. Hasley and his daughter, Callie Pennington, age 25; and Edith? P. Pennington, his granddaughter, age 6. The granddaughter, Pebble, died Nov.9,1927, In Polk County, Arkansas, and was buried in the Six Mile Cemetery near Hatfield, Polk County, Arkansas.William Loranzo Hasley was living in Polk County Arkansas at that time.The 1930 Fed. Census reveals that William Loranzo Hasley was living in Polk County, Arkansas, at that time with his wife, Sarah C. Hasley. He was 72 and his wife was 71.Sarah C Hasley died in 1937, amd was buried in the Six Mile Cemetery.Sometime after the death of Sarah C. Hasley, William Loranzo Hasley returned to Comanche County, Texas, wher he died, and was buried there; but, I don't know the burial site.
I have found where a William (R?)Hasley was born in Dickson, Tenn. in 1857.This would concide with the birth of William Loranzo Hasley.I am sticking with this untile someone proves me wrong.His paarents were listed as: William C. Hasley and Elizabeth J. Louis.Records reflect the William C. Hasly married Elizabeth J. Louis in 1844, in Dixon, Tenn; and that William C. Hasley was born in Tenn. in 1826.
