Hassam family from London (UK)

My paternal Grandmother was Laura Ellen Hassam b.1891 in London and was apparently from Woolwich. She went to China as a nurse with the British Army aged about 16; then on to India as a governess then onto Kenya where she settled, married my grandfather and died in 1960. She had a sister, Annie, who I once met in London.
Any info much appreciated.
