In the past, I have tried on GenForum for a Hassenpflug Forum.Naturally, no luck.On a whim today, I typed in Hassenplug--for I know the younger sons of Johann Heinrich Hassenpflug took out the "f."Sure enough, here we are.WHY DON'T WE HAVE THE NAME
SPELLED CORRECTLY ON THE FORUM?Can we change it?The family name is Hassenpflug, period! My husband descends from JJH's oldest son, Johannes Hassenpflug--went west to Ohio, then to Kansas. After John came Levi, David Allen, Arthur Allen, Arthur Allen, Jr. (Of course the kicker is, my husband changed to phonetic--well, pret' near--Hassenflu).But after years of researching this interesting family, I wish he hadn"t!)
