My aunt has done extensive research on the Hatchers.She has proved ancestry back to William to the satisfaction of the Jamestown Society.You are correct that he first settled in Henrico County.His home was known as Varina and was located on the James River.He was a neighbor of Bacon and was involved in Bacon's Rebellion.He was a member of the House of Burgesses and was an outspoken individual, was even chastised for it and fined.I am not taking the time to look through my records (which are ample), but just throwing out some info from memory.Will follow up and appreciate any info.
