I have some concerns about the liklihood of a connection to the Ben F Hatfield of Kosciusko, IN.In 1850 I can see him on the census with his family (Richard33, Catherine25,Alfred8, Josiah8, Harrison4, Margaret E2), but in 1860 the family is still in Kosciusko, IN but Ben is missing.Since he would only be 10 at that time, he should still be there.

The marriage information looked pretty good.It also indicated the father and mother of Ben were from Ohio and the mother and father of Susan were from England.Unfortunately, it did not list their names.

I am not connected to these Hatfields that I know of, but I have been collecting information on Hatfields in general for about 30 years and back in the 1990s I put up a web site with much of what I had collected.

Sorry to not be more help just now, but I will keep your information in mind and get in touch if I see anything.
