Adam S. Hatfield 1812-?

I am looking for information on Adam S.(Supplee) Hatfield. I know who Adam's parentswere and grandparents were, Adam is a 1C4R. I found an Adam Hatfield married to a Martha Walters July 30 1843 and then to an Elizabeth Green Dec 13 1847, both marriages took place in Lewis Co., MO. I have not been able to find any other information on these women. I also have his nickname as Pete, I have no idea where this information came from. The information on the 1850 census is questionable because the middle letter could be an I, J, L, or S. My question is where did the death date of 1853 come from and do you have an idea as to the location. If this is Adam S. he probably died in the gold fields and is buried in an unmarked grave.
Some of my info is old, 2004 for Elizabeth and 2007 for Martha and not sourced, darn! Any ideas or help will be appreciated.
