Putting in the missing pices of our Hatfield family tree

I have been told over the years that my husbands grandfather was relatied to devil anise hatfield and he has passed away and so has my mother in law and we are tring to put stories with facts if anyone can help that would be great this is the info I have.
This is what was wrote in Ester Joyce Stratton's bible Daughter of everett
Father- EVERETT LEE HATFIELD born 1911 DIED 1995
married ADA MARGRET PURCELL
Grandfather-Bud Hatfield
married Hattie Belle Evens
Great Grandfather- Jhonson Hatfield there is a date in her bible beside Jhonson Hatfield not sure if it is date of birth or death it is Aug.10,1864 hope someone can help me
