I just know Kevin Costner played a Captain William Anderson Hatfield in the Confederate Army during the Civil War.There are lots of records of him and his unit at the George Tyler Moore Center for the Study of the Civil War.

Then my research continues with the Hatfield Kevin Costner played after the Civil War.

If you are saying Kevin Costner played two different people in the TV series several months ago, this is news to me.

The Washington Post PARADE section dated May 20 2012 has a Picture of Kevin Costner on the front page.Inside section states Kevin Costner and Pittsburgh Steeler's Dan Rooney's daughter were dating.

By Civil War Records, CSA Captain William Anderson hatfield's master Sgt was Alfred Beckley Jr the son of CSA General Alfred Beckely and his wife Amelia Neville Craig of Pittsburgh. Her mother was Anne FULTON and she raised CSA M/Sgt Alfred Beckley Jr in Pittsburgh after his mother died.

This is when this picks up with my Myers and Lee families connected to Meriwether Lewis and Pittsburgh lawyer Edwin M Stanton and the first in the world Nickelodeon built at 433 Smithfield Street in Pittsburgh. This leads to the second in the world Nickelodeon built near Lincoln/Glassport PA in the Myers Building just 13 miles east of Pittsburgh.

News of the opening of this movie theater was in the June 1906 Glassport Daily News.

This leads to Fort Hays and Fort Sedgwick and a book titled Dances With Wolves.Ft Hays was named after Pittsburgh Union General Alexander Hays and Fort Sedgwick was named after Pittsburgh Union General John Sedgwick. Both died within days of each other just north of Richmond VA.
