I found a William P. Hatfield born in 1909 who died in Kern County, CA in 1967.His Social Security Number was issued in KY.Is this the same man?I thought it was interesting that not only was Joseph Davis Hatfield was Sheriff of Shenandoah County, VA he was also Sheriff of Logan County, WV.I have a distant relative of mine named John Peter Galloway who was Sheriff of three different counties in north Florida which as far as I know is a record.
